About
A new step for Queensland Ballet
Our partnership with QB has spanned 12 magical years and in 2022 it was time for the story of Queensland Ballet to take a new step. To maintain their extremely loyal older and younger demographics, while attracting everyone in between. This required a strategy that tip-toed the line between the classic and the contemporary. We focused on building a digital home that everyone could access.
Using our custom CMS TANK, we designed a website that could house engaging full screen video, but fast loading so it could be streamed in the regions. We moved their existing black and white brand into the digital world, adding a wider, more contemporary colour palette. We built an easy to navigate UI to promote shows, seamlessly integrate with ticketing, and put bums on seats. The website has become the benchmark for arts websites in Queensland, receiving a Webby Nominee.

Beyond the website
Our partnership with Queensland Ballet has extended far beyond a digital partner. We've helped captivate school audiences through our Matinee animations and engaged a wider demographic through the beautiful Pas publication to name just a few.
